A Journey: Making My Own Head Planters with Hypertufa

I found a great blog to help me in my garden:  http://www.the-artistic-garden.com

Here's the specific post that's going to get me started making head planters:  http://www.the-artistic-garden.com/hypertufa-planter.html

They suggest using >hypertufa, which I have never used before.  Here's the Wikipedia definition for Hypertufa:  >http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypertufa

Here are some recipes for making Hypertufa:  http://www.gardenstew.com/about1779.html

Here's a beginner's recipe:

  1. I see you're last post was in 2011 but hope you will still get this message. I appreciate all the link info for head planters as I'm contemplating making my own. My question is, did you ever make one? I'd be interested in knowing how it progressed and seeing a photo if possible. Thanks again.
